The Russian got a valid point as Moscow said after Kosovo got independent, that "what is good for Kosovo why the same is not good for Abkhazia and South Ossetia? The people of Crimea had voted to join Russia which means they had exercise their right to self-determination. Historically Crimea had been part of Russia but during Soviet Union time, it was given to Ukraine. The point is that if people of DONBAS don't want part of Ukrain, why force them to remain part of it?
