Sheikh Rasheed is member of Pakistan Parliament from 1985 but in his public speech today either he is demonizing PM of AJK Raja Farooq Haider or people of AJK or this is his ignorance that in AJK there is no CM but PM.
The fact that people of the State of Jammu Kashmir which spread from Lakhanpure to Hunza and from Aksichin to Mangla have yet to exercise their right to self-determination. We don't deny the fact that it is natural for people, communities and states to enter into bilateral relationship. The science of this bilateral relationship is always dictated and guided by mutual benefits. This is the reason that member states enter into bilateral relationship and the subject experience of bilateral relationship pave the way to expand their cooperation to a level where both or more enjoy by sharing maximum authority of state sovereignty.
The people of the state in both parts knows that mutual relationship with our next door neighbors is very important for the benefit of both but these relations always dictate by equal position. The question of slavery be that of India, Pakistan or some one else is out of question.
There is a segment of population both in India and Pakistan who perceive and behave like colonial masters of 19 century. They are ignoring the fact that today the right to self-determination is basic right recognized and protected in every democratic society.
It is important that they have to change their mindset and perception about politics of today. To behave like tribal-war-lord and hate-monger is an insult not only to the people of Jammu Kashmir but the democrat and civilized people of India and Pakistan.
