Why Pakistan trying to maintain its two faces?

Pakistan daily newspaper called daily Jang which published from London is part of my daily newspaper readership list. The subject news item of Saba news agency published in daily Jasarat in Pakistan which belong to Jamat-e-Islami, but, not part of my daily newspapers list. The news item also published in daily Jang London in its front page in 3 columns with head line "feel ashamed to call our country an Islamic democracy, only people attached to mosques placed in fourth schedule - Islamabad High Court". The subject news item is missing in English section of daily Jang London, which published with the name title "The News". I checked its internet publication, the subject news item is also missing there. I checked Jasarat but in its internet publication, it is available, so I took it from there and published in my blog. 

The news item relate to a person whose name is Manzoor Hussain and provide services and assistance to famous mosque known as Red Mosque Islamabad which had resisted Pakistan army with arms for weeks. His name placed in fourth schedule of the terror related list by the government of Pakistan.

Judge the Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddique of Islamabad High Court, asked government representative available in the court hearing for an evidence upon which government had reached to its final conclusion to place Manzoor Hussain name on terror related list, known as fourth schedule. The Government representative replied - "he don't has any evidence" which in the letter and essence of the law is an admittance of a guilty before a judge. In such situation the Judge has no option but to issue order for a criminal proceedings against the subject representative and its chain of command. The action taken by state without evidence and now prove before the court of law that the government is punishing innocent people which is serious crime.   

The judge, instead to revisit the statue books of law, to see what action is needed, he prefer to ride the bandwagon of politics by making a political statement, turning himself into the shoes of Saint Augustine to declare that "the prayers assistants and service men in mosques are the blessing to the nation.” Perhaps the poor citizens are the only curse to the nation! The Judge said: "show your courage if you can to touch the top brass of defunct organizations"; while posing a question to Government representative, Judge further remark, "have you ever placed a name in terror related list of fourth schedule of those who drink alcohol, smoke hashish, run illegal casinos or prostitution".  One wonder what terror related or religious hate crimes got to do with alcohol drinkers, hashish smokers, illegal casino operation or illegal prostitution business. Every crime treated on its own nature, merit and its consequence over to society.

The news item which shows on one hand that government punished innocent people without any evidence yet the judges are still living in middle ages, alien to any legal system and essence of justice. The person in authority is in front of the subject judge, admitting action is an evidence without reasonable doubt. Therefore the person having authority to execute illegal action by placing a person on terror related list, had violated basic rights of the subject person. The person representing his government is admitting guilty. One wonder, why the judge failed to order for criminal proceeding against government representative. If the judge knows that government don't touch "top brass" and instead punishing innocent people is an additional information available to justice system for action and to order for criminal investigation instead of pointing finger on "alcohol drinker, hashish smokers, gamblers and prostitution". If judge knows that these illegal activities are in practices yet executive branch of the state failed to act then judicial branch of the state need to take action which mean to issue order for a criminal proceeding against all those having authority in those areas where they are responsible to enforce the law instead to become middle ages moral saint.

Is Pakistan moving forward? I don't think so. Pakistani in this day and age trying to display two different pages; one for its people to read and one for world to read.
