55 executed al-Qaeda elements found south of Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday a security source told IraqiNews.com that the decomposing bodies of 55 men were found south of Hilla were elements of al-Qaeda.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The bodies were found by police near the shrine of Rashid (0.16 km south of Hilla), belonging to elements of al-Qaeda. ” added the source, who asked not to be named, said “the number of bodies are 55,” he said, adding that “all of which were executed.”
