‎@all. The cartoon shows not only true picture, but to me it is tip of the ice berg. who is responsible for hundred of thousands of lives? Certainly both India and Pakistan. What about Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan? So, the fact is that one part is occupied by India yet other by Pakistan. There is no militant resistance in Azad Kashmir or Gilgit Baltistan because no one is crossing over to Indian side, to get training and arms from Indian Army. What Pakistani army did with people of Azad Kashmir during 1955? Our elders knows better.
Pakistan is facing music of its own trained and armed people in Pakistan. Fazullah and many ullahs are not fighting for an independent but because they were trained and armed by Pakistan army. Instead of resolving their political differences through political means, they turned their guns to settle their political objectives. We call it authoritarian behaviour which stem from the barrel of gun and if allowed without proper discipline, then turned out to be a vehicle of anarchy and pave the way for an unimaginable death and destruction of any given society. That is what happening in Pakistan.
So far the question of muslim brotherhood is concern. I beg to ask a simple question: why Muhammad ben Bakr (son of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique) turned his guns on Hzrat Uthman and ultimately led the violent rebellion against the Caliph? The Caliph was murdered but never got justice? Both Muhammad ben Bakr and Uthman were muslims of high repute of Islamic history.
Societies are socially grounded, inhabited by humans, subject to be verified through human sensory tools. Human problems need human solutions by humans. No doubt that religion is too part of human life but as an exclusive property, but it based itself on the assumptions of metaphysics and supernatural forces which can not be mixed with the law of physics and nature.
Those of us trying to attract the sentiments of the people by using their religious, tribal and racial emotions, are themselves part of the problem not the solution. Simply by diverting masses attention towards faith or tribal attachment, means to sweep the real problems under the carpet. By doing so on one hand they advance their personal benefits over the cost of society by creating confusion for the masses where the literacy rate is very low, and on other hand they intentionally promote conditions conducive for a society to remain ignorance.
