Review: Unpacking the Exposé on Jibran Ilyas and PTI's Alleged US Ties. Farhan Virk's presented evidence from Jibran Ilyas own CV. PTI and spooks are in hot-water! - UKJNews

In the video titled "Who is Jibran Ilyas?  The Secret Connection Between PTI Social Media & US Agencies Exposed", host Farhan Virk presents a detailed critique and investigative report regarding Jibran Ilyas, the head of PTI’s social media. The review centres on the alleged contradiction between PTI’s "Anti-America" political narrative and the professional background of its social media chief.

Key Highlights and Claims from the Video:

  • Professional Ties to US Agencies: Virk presents Jibran Ilyas’s own CV and LinkedIn profile. evidence. He points out that Ilyas explicitly mentions being a Member of the United States Secret Service Electronic Crimes Task Force  and having developed training programs and syllabi for the US Secret Service (USSS).
  • High-Level Security Clearance: The video argues that for an individual to train US federal agents or develop curriculum for them, they must possess the highest level of US security clearance. Virk questions how someone with such deep ties to the US security apparatus can lead the digital narrative for a party that campaigns on the slogan "American Slavery is Unacceptable" (Amriki Ghulami Na-Manzoor).
  • Fast-Track Corporate Career: Using AI analysis (Google Gemini), the host examines Ilyas’s career at the firm Stroz Friedberg. He notes that Ilyas rose from Assistant Director to Managing Director in just a few years (2014–2017). The video claims this "exceptionally fast" promotion is abnormal in the corporate world and suggests external support or a specific agenda.
  • The Broadsheet Connection: A significant portion of the review links Ilyas to the Broadsheet scandal. Virk alleges that while Ilyas was Managing Director at Stroz Friedberg, his firm was hired by Broadsheet to value the assets of the Sharif family. This valuation (approx. $820 million) eventually led the PTI government to pay $28.7 million in damages to Broadsheet, which Virk characterizes as a massive loss to the Pakistani exchequer facilitated by PTI's own social media head's firm.
  • Data Collection & Manipulation: The video discusses the "Raabta" App developed by Ilyas for PTI. Virk compares its data collection methods to the Cambridge Analytica scandal. He claims the app was used to map user psychology, sentiments, and interests to perform "micro-targeting" and create "echo chambers," which he argues was instrumental in mobilizing youth for events like the May 9th protests.

Conclusion of the Review:

The video concludes by urging PTI supporters to independently verify these "open-source" facts. The overarching message is a warning of a "dangerous design," where a person allegedly embedded in the US defence and intelligence infrastructure  is simultaneously managing the narrative of a political party that claims to be resisting US influence.

The Bigger Picture: Outsmarted Intelligence and Political Irony

This story resonates with the view that Pakistan's intelligence apparatus (ISI/ISPR) has been out-maneuvered by foreign services in elevating groups like the Taliban and PTI. Virk's narrative implies US agencies infiltrated PTI's digital wing early on, potentially influencing its rise—especially ironic given PTI's 2018 ascent amid military backing allegations. If true, it suggests a sophisticated play where anti-US slogans mask deeper entanglements, echoing historical US drone ops in Pakistan with tacit local approval. Yet, without concrete proof (e.g., documents or leaks), it risks being another chapter in Pakistan's cycle of conspiracy theories and factional betrayals.

Overall, Virk's video is compelling viewing for PTI watchers—Jibran Ilyas as media head of PTI, close to Imran Khan yet Professional Ties to US Agencies; High-Level Security Clearance; Fast-Track Corporate Career; The Broadsheet Connection; Data Collection & Manipulation leading PTI into hot-water and timely amid ongoing political turmoil.

In my view it would be very difficult for PTI to defend the allegations if brought before a court of law which they (PTI) don't observing their history before grabbing power, in power or after power, they instead are of the habits to survive merely on political slogans rather than facts.
