The image, along with the context from the X post, depicts a scene at the Darul Uloom Deoband, a prominent Islamic seminary in India.
This institution, which has historically played a significant role in shaping Islamic thought and education, is now at the center of a troubling paradox.
The post highlights a disturbing irony: the very place that has been a crucible for extremist ideologies and has contributed to the rise of terrorism within the Islamic faith is now welcoming a leader whose regime embodies the very antithesis of Islamic values and human rights.
Darul Uloom Deoband, once a beacon of traditional Islamic learning, has tragically devolved into a breeding ground for distorted interpretations of Islam contradicting the holly text.
He don't know even the basic definition of
religion and social norms how to talk to fellow human
being yet he is out as preacher.
what this so-called Imam spread by using an insulting
language and religious racism. I wonder who allow
these people to become Imam or preachers?
The Quran 2:113; 2:177 is defining religion; Quran 2:151(book and wisdom) Quran 2:158 unlike Juda-Christian, elevated woman social action in history to the status of worship in Hajj and Umrah; The Quran 24:31 (بِخُمُرِهِنَّ عَلٰى جُيُوۡبِهِنَّ) draw their veils over their bosoms not head or face (word face mentioned more than 100 times and word head more than twenty times but not a single time women face and head cover); Quran 33:59 (ان یعرفن) so that you recognized; Quran 33:35 gender equality; Quran 9:71 mix gender (women and men are friends); Quran 2:282/283 written evidence is must unlike after 200 years inventing stories based on hear say thousands of miles away from Mecca and Medina.
The Quran 5:32 (sanctity of human life); Quran 7:32 Allah is the only authority to forbid something which is in the Quran not even the Prophet (PBUH); Quran 22:40 monasteries, churches, synagogue and mosques where the name of Allah much recited yet all schools and sect preach religious hatred even religious student don't know the social norms which all of us learn from mother laps to respect other people as they are, what ever their religion, culture, norms or behaviour because the life is govern by the law not by fellow human beings.
The misinterpretations Deoband, Barelvi or Salfi contradicting the Quran, have not only fueled extremism but have also aligned with Zionist and religious racist ideologies, a stark departure from the religion's core principles of peace, justice, and equality even what is one learn from mother lap, they gone worse than that as show in above two videos which indicate they are not just two good human being let alone religious preachers. The seminary's influence has been profound, shaping minds that have gone on to perpetrate violence and terror, undermining the very fabric of Islamic society.
The leader being welcomed, a figure from Afghanistan, represents a regime that has stripped its people of their fundamental right to self-determination. This unelected group, characterized by its reliance on brute force, has imposed a draconian rule that denies basic freedoms.
but they been dubbed as "Extremists". I wonder what is extremism in India?
Women, in particular, have been dehumanized, reduced to mere objects of sexual servitude, a grotesque violation of their dignity and rights. The general populace is treated with the same disdain, their lives governed by fear and oppression, more akin to animals than human beings with inherent rights.
What is most staggering is the response from the students of Darul Uloom Deoband. In a country that prides itself on being the world's largest democracy, these individuals, who should be at the forefront of advocating for justice and human rights, are instead seen welcoming this war criminal.
Their silence on the atrocities committed by his regime, and their active participation in his reception, is a betrayal of the very ideals they claim to uphold. It is a damning indictment of the hypocrisy that pervades this institution, which has failed to foster a critical understanding of Islam that could challenge such barbarity.
This scene is not just a local anomaly but a reflection of a broader crisis within certain segments of the Islamic world. It underscores the urgent need for reform within religious education, to reclaim the true essence of Islam from those who have twisted it for their own nefarious purposes.
The silence and complicity of these students, in the face of such grave injustices, highlight a moral bankruptcy that must be addressed if the Islamic community is to regain its moral compass and stand against oppression in all its forms. The image, therefore, is not just a snapshot of a moment but a stark reminder of the ongoing struggle to reconcile faith with justice, and the dire consequences when that balance is lost.
