"The YouGov findings confirm those of a poll by Conservative Home on Tuesday, which put the same two candidates as favourites among the party faithful. 

Penny Mordaunt is now the clear favourite for leader among Conservative members. She holds a strong lead in both the single choice Q, and in all head to heads 

Mordaunt: 27% 

Badenoch: 15% 

Sunak, Truss: 13% 

Tugendhat: 8% 

Braverman: 5% 

Hunt: 4% 

Zahawi:1%

It also put her head of all rivals in straight one-to-one choice questions. 

But the new findings contradict a poll on Tuesday, by Opinium Research and Channel 4 News, that found Rishi Sunak was Conservative members’ first choice."
