The contesting debate between Indian and Pakistani on the question of "urdu" yet ignoring the historical reasons. #urdu #Pakistan #India

The question that if Urdu is Pakistan's only national language which is the mother tongue of the migrant community who had migrated from central provinces of India to West Pakistan during 1947?
The fact is that Urdu is one of Pakistan's national languages, not the only one, and this is also true that urdu is the mother tongue of those who had migrated from the central provinces of India to West Pakistan during 1947.
Why did Urdu become the lingua france of Pakistan, and not Punjabi or Sindhi? The reason may be that urdu was the lingua franca of North India before 1947, and West Pakistan was part of North India. So West Pakistan and present Pakistan had inherited urdu from British India and even at this point in time, it is the only common source of communication between Sindhi, Punjabi, Pashtoon, and Baloch speaking populations.
Therefore urdu is the demand of Pakistani society yet the other languages must not die down and should be given equal opportunities to develop so to become medium of the eduction system as these languages are very ancient. Sindhi after Greek and Persian is the third language in which the earliest Qur'an was translated yet those manuscripts are not available.
