"The Russian Defence Ministry has claimed their forces fired warning shots at a Royal Navy destroyer after it allegedly entered territorial waters in the Black Sea. Moscow also said a Su-24M warplane dropped four bombs close to HMS Defender.
Meanwhile, the MOD has denied any suggestion of warning shots being fired.
The UK's Defence Secretary said the ship "carried out a routine transit" across the Black Sea. Ben Wallace went on to say "as is normal for this route, she entered an internationally recognized traffic separation corridor" and "exited that corridor safely at 0945 BST.""
