Khadijah's House. The Archeological Evidence And Modern Islam. #Islam #Mecca #Khadijah'sHouse

The controversies and debate of banning the hijab in France draw my attention to a systematic and comprehensive investigation about the origin and early Islam. From the outset, I was of the opinion that there was no hijab and male/female segregation but a later day addition to Islamic culture.
I had started my research with hijab but between the line, a picture emerged that there are very basic discrepancies which need to settle down done.
The very reason that we don't have the first manuscript of the Qur'an which was prepared during the time of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique yet we do have the holly grave of our Prophet and Ka'ba from Prophet time to keep the original text of the Qur'an.
The confrontation and conflict to settle down the holly text of the Qur'an and the social demands and interests of lawyers and philologists had played a key role to settle down even the holly text through an evolutionary period. Moreover, no handwritten evidence had been preserved in order to make it available to generations to come. The modern Islamic researchers mostly rely on secondary evidence, even they don't bother to survey the holly text of the ancient manuscripts of the Qur'an. This attitude gave birth to a culture of theological polemic to dominate the sectarian interest among the Muslim population rather than allowing proper debate and better understanding.
This was my opinion in 2004. I am happy to see that what archeological evidence is bringing to light-demanding serious attention to recognize the fact that there are very serious discrepancies and we are unknowingly passing on from generation to generation.
