The basic principle to approach any conflict which demand to delivered justice to innocent men, women and children and to maintain peace - need to check and verify the relevant facts. Keeping this in view to my observation and I am sure millions would share the same that the representative of the Government of India at UN failed to answer the questions raised by Pakistani
Representatives. The questions were backed by facts accessible to every one by themselves. He didn't even touch a single question to accept or deny and instead as war strategists, opted to open new fronts of blaming external links and its adversaries, yet, failed to answer - why people in villages, towns and cities of Indian Occupied Kashmir are out in hundreds of thousands chanting just one phrase "freedom".
These questions reflect the sentiments and aspiration of those hundreds of thousands living under curfew for last two months. The estimated figure of deaths both by local and International media and human rights organizations is between 98,000 to 120,000. The injured turned disable or displaced are hundred of thousands.
The reply is enlightening in the sense that how government of India is seen just manipulative rather presenting any counter evidence. I would
like to add few more questions are as follows:
1) If Kashmir is India's internal affairs then what about United Nation Military Observers still stationed both in Srinager and Muzafarabad which had established in 1948 by United Nation Security Council Resolution 39 (1948)? Is there any UNMO in India or Pakistan?
2) The GOI took the case again to UNSC claiming that J&K Assembly had ratified the provisional treaty of accession. The UNSC in its resolution 122 (1957) rejected it and I quote "[r]eminding the Governments and authorities concerned of the principle embodied in its resolutions 47 (1948) of 21 April, 1948, 51(1948) of 3 June, 1948, 80 (1950) of 14 March, 1950 and 91(1951) of 30 March, 1951, and the United Nations Commission for India and Pakistan resolutions of 13 August, 1948, and 5 January, 1949, that the final disposition of the State of Jammu and Kashmir will be made in accordance with the will of the people expressed through the democratic method of a free and impartial plebiscite conducted under the auspices of the United Nations". Is it not an internationally recognized fact what she had reminded India delegation to enlighten the august house instead of insulting it by taking refuge into manipulative blame game?
3) Had India ever presented Indra-Abdullah understanding of 1974 before UNSC?
4) Simla Agreement or any other agreements between India and Pakistan are bilateral agreements between two states, never consulted to the people of Jammu Kashmir to ascertain their consent by using democratic means and methods. How it is possible for the people of Jammu Kashmir to abide by an agreement to which they are not party at all. They are party to provisional treaty of accession which is recognized and taken over by UNSC resolutions.
5) The legal consultant body with UN, The International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) had given their finding in 1994/95 that people of the State of Jammu Kashmir have yet to exercise their right to self determination.
