"It also revealed that the appointment of the TTP Ameer is not merely based on head counting but is done on merit. The violent and unrepentant performer is the best choice for them. Ferocious Fazlullah will exert hard to expand TTP’s area of influence. There are all the chances that Haqqani Group, al-Qaeda and Afghan Taliban would support the TTP in this regard.
After murder of Naseer Haqqani son of Jalaludddin Haqqani near Islamabad the chances of the support and solidarity of the above trio with TTP are bright. With 2014 around the corner these forces will join hands to expand their area of influence not only in Waziristan but the entire settled areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. In the next phase they would strive to export TTP’s brand of Sharia and influence from the safe havens of Waziristan to all areas of Pakistan."
