I think Pakistani ruling elite and their supporters have yet to re-adjust their mindset with modern realities. This historical tragedy of massacre in punjab by each others or migration from both sides been used in Pakistan as an contribution for creation of Pakistan in a positive sense. People been butchered by each other which must to be understood in a proper context. The cause of the bloodshed was hate. Hate express itself. It would never confined to a specific domain. Yesterday it was Muslim-Hindu, Muslim-Sikh; today it is Punjabee-Mhajir, Pakhtoon-Mhajir, Panjabee-Blooch or Whabbi -Sunni, sunni-shia ect. Just by singing the song of love over and above in the tone of expansionism, would not bring unity among different people and nations. The fundamental is to learn to respect each others rights and freedom. Kashmir do have its thousands of years of history. Why it would join India or Pakistan? Why many Countries still waiting to join Europe, including Turkey. Because European societies proved to be the best. What attraction Pakistani and Indian can offer to Kashmir?
