I think Blaooch been pushed to the wall where you have no option to swing but stick to the course. Though the new amendments in Pakistani constitution such as 18th and 19th are providing some space, but still long way to go. The discriminatory rules violating both fundamental human rights and international law, are still part of the constitution. The original purpose of International law was to allow the member states to bring about the changes in their indigenous traditional laws if not meeting the fundamental human rights with the passage of time. This was due to the fact that these traditional laws were there for thousands of years. In case of Pakistan, instead of indigenous cultural values or traditional laws; for purely political expediency, the ruling elite had time to time opted out for new laws in the name of religion Islam. These laws from the outset were, very discriminatory in nature, and on contrary to the indigenous traditions, these were alien traditions to Pakistani culture and its origin of as norms and values of a slave societies in history.
The state have to accept the question of voluntarily association between people, communities, groups and nations. There are essential ingredients of bonds between different ethnic, communities and nations; that is geographical proximity, a fundamental for natural relationships of sharing economic, cultural, political and territorial resources for a mutual gain. But, the constitution is not more than the pages of a book in terms of Pakistani history, that can be tear-up by a General at any time as General Zia very rightly said so.
There is no two arguments that in case of Pakistan, the constitution of that country, has never been translated as sacred document of treaty between people, communities, nationality and nations. There fore state institutions as well as people subscribe to their own liking and disliking of their own sects norms, tribes values, religious traditions and cultures behavior, without any recourse to the constitution. The security establishment want to be the master of every thing and above to any written code of conduct. The Army is controlled by security establishment, where to be used and where not to be used? It is at their will, whom to hang, whom to assign govt position of the highest in the land, parties are subject to the approval of whom to issue tickets and whom not to, media is subject to pass through the corridors of the security establishment, to make sure to carry-out what is been set by them to be told to the public. In this scenario, for Balooch, the only way-out is, to stay the course.
