Writer is trying to prove some thing after ten years of presence of US and NATO forces in Afghanistan which was approved by UN unanimously with fully support of Russia and China. Instead of answering the basic questions, he is trying to draw parallel between Balkan and Afghanistan which are totally different. The questions are as follows:
1: The International community had expressed through unanimous security council resolution to route-out terrorism in all its shapes and manifestations. This was the job in Afghanistan. What was the reason to change policy that had divided International community by going into Iraq even without UN mandate?
2: What was stopping US/NATO not to build strong indigenous Afghan Army and modern police force so that the Afghan could take care of their own affairs?
3: Is it not correct that all the Taliban from Afghanistan except Kunduz, had brought in to Pakistan (FATA) keeping in view their safety, during war time by Pakistani and Saudi Intelligence so to use them at an appropriate time?
4: Is it not the fact that the poor people of Afghanistan has been and are the victim of Pakistani-Saudi expansionism supported both by Europe and US rather than fighting among themselves?
