The Prospects and Limits of Women's Mobilization in Saudi Arabia

"Saudi Arabia is almost at the bottom of the Gender Gap Index in the sense that women are excluded from employment in a very big way. They do not constitute more than 12% of the labour force, although they are over-represented in education, specifically at university level. So what is the problem of this Gender Gap Index and what does it tell us about the situation?"
